I made Banana Bread!

So like many of you, over Quarantine I started to bake more than ever. I often found that my bananas were quickly going bad. I hate wasting produce, so if I wasn't adding them to smoothies or overnight oats, I was making Banana Bread.

Many packaged breads are high in calories, sugars and fats, so making my own is always a smarter option. My Banana Bread was delicious, but after I made it, I definitely saw lots of memes that were making fun of people who were resorting to baking the healthy dessert. Of course, this didn’t bother me at all because I am aware of all the benefits that banana's can provide us.

They tend to have a high rate of protein which is beneficial to health. Protein is an essential nutrient needed for the growth, repair, and recovery of muscles. It also helps to stabilize blood sugar levels, satisfying a hungry appetite to prevent you from eating the full loaf of bread. Adding bananas to your bread makes it healthier.

Increasing your consumption of fiber-rich foods, such as bananas, can lower the risk of both cardiovascular and coronary heart disease. Eating banana makes your heart healthier. #SoftHeartHardCore
